Cardamom & Orange Peel Digestive Syrup

This aromatic syrup was traditionally prepared to gently ease digestive spasm and support comfort after meals.

Equipment

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 Glass bottle

Materials

  • 1 tsp crushed cardamom pods
  • 1 tbsp dried orange peel
  • 2 cups  water
  • ½ cup honey

Instructions

  • Simmer herbs in water for 15 minutes.
  • Strain.
  • While warm, stir in honey
  • Store refrigerated
