Chamomile Calming Tea (Infusion)
A classic chamomile tea made from dried flowers and hot water, traditionally used as a gentle, aromatic beverage after meals or in the evening.
Yield: 4 cups
- 8 teaspoons dried chamomile
- 4 cups freshly boiled water
Place the dried chamomile flowers in a cup or teapot.
Pour freshly boiled water over the herbs.
Cover and steep for 5–10 minutes.
Strain before drinking.
A longer steep creates a stronger and slightly more bitter tea. Often combined with other gentle herbs such as lemon balm or fennel.
